WHILE it’s become more convenient to shop online instead of lining up in malls, security experts warn that online shoppers should think before they click online advertisements or unsolicited e-mail that might appear to offer knock-off prices. While a recent poll of the anti-virus firm Sophos shows that online shoppers are more cautious about shopping online, the company reiterated that one should be extra careful in this holiday season because spammers and fraudsters are working overtime to trick people to giving away personal information and buying fake and fraudulent items.
